Order of operations 0 Order of operations are exactly what it sounds like, it tells you what order to do math equations in. 0 They are important because to do a complicated equation, with more than one operation in it, you need to know the order because other wise you could get a completely different answer. 0 In order operations you have to do numbers/equations in brackets and exponents first. 0 Secondly you would do the multiplication or division equations first 0 And lastly you would work out addition or subtraction
