3. Selection of Students The top 15% of standardized testing were invited to apply for ASLP. 32 students will be chosen to represent Barnstable based on:  History of academic achievement  Interest in subject area to be pursued  Current teacher recommendations (2)

4. Application Process – Check List Read Packet & Catalogue 1 st Draft Current Teacher Recommendations –  Kindly and clearly request – “practicing professional”  Forms are submitted by teacher to Barnstable Gateway Office  Complete Teacher Recommendation Record Final Draft – Criteria:  Hand written in ink (not typed)  Neat  Seriousness of purpose and interest in the subject matter to be pursued  Within the space allotted
