1. Primary systems around barracks CRIOTEC -installation of pneumatic lines and actuators finished (cabling to valves and control components from DSS) -pressure tests performed successfully (one leak detected, connection repaired) -not fully tight valve changed today, system ready for operation, commissioning to TS/CV/OP asap Paolo Guglielmini - TS / CV LHCb Install Meeting - 12/10/2005

2. DC stations transfer lines under construction INEO ALPES -transfer lines for IT, TT, OT, RICH stations under construction, to be finished in week 43 (before the 28 th ) -piping to IT/TT safety chiller to be soon designed and installed according to same schedule -on LHCb demand: isolation valves on four lines installed on RB84 side, bypass dismantled on same side, brackets near to barracks stairs on RB86 modified -cavern wall on RB86 to be tidied up for pipes installation (neon light, cables)

4. VELO concentric lines construction SIMIND Paolo Guglielmini - TS / CV LHCb Install Meeting - 12/10/2005 -schedule: beginning Nov 28 th or Dec 05 th duration 10 working days -preliminary yard visit on 14/10 -PPSPS drawing up ongoing -requests to LHCb: crane truck with operator, 2/3 nights for pressure tests (pneumatic, 125 bar)

Rack cooling lines at mixed water, fire extinction network, chilled/mixed water pipes modification on RB84 IT to be drawn up Paolo Guglielmini - TS / CV LHCb Install Meeting - 12/10/2005 Fire prevention lines integration completed, on RB84 spurs almost defined, lines drawing up on RB86 priority. Tests on rack exchangers and Wiener power supplies ongoing (Detraz, Bobillier)

Others Paolo Guglielmini - TS / CV LHCb Install Meeting - 12/10/2005 - ventilation system for Muon station M1/3 design under definition, ES approval in 3 weeks, TS/CV to supply components, installation from Muon collaboration - CV works required in SX8/R-003 (007, 008) to be defined with F.Levrier - air conditioners maintenance around barracks performed by R.Mollay in week 42
