To develop and deploy an information sharing / transfer capability that enables the coordination of moves between parties to Maximize loaded moves and Minimize unproductive moves. COMPONENTS: Intermodal Exchange (IMEX) Chassis Utilization Tracking (CUT) Wireless Drayage Updating (WDU) Real Time Traffic Monitoring (RTTM) Dynamic Route Guidance (DGR) FUNCTIONS: IMEX: Collaborative dispatch via an online exchange CUT: Transparent view of available chassis inventory WDU: Wireless exchange of shipment info between drivers and dispatchers RTTM: Definition of O-D pairs, route travel times, and traffic information DRG: Dynamic routing via travel time algorithm using available data to predict travel time C-TIP Goal
