Gateway to Third Class Pilot Course Apprenticeship Program : 2 years to cover the lack of sea experience and “Seamanship” with cargo ship of shipping company After the program, the apprentice enters Third Class Pilot Course of Marine Technical Collage : 21 months

Central Simulator Each ship, controlled by central and cubicle simulators independently, can be seen on each simulator’s display. Training

2) Third Class Pilots Third Class Pilots had started pilot life in July 2011. 53 pilots, including 5 women, (approximately 7.8% among all 680 pilots in Japan) are working as third class as of today. Let’s see “photographs” of their hard training scene.
