6. SLIDE PROJECTOR  A device used to view photographic slides.  Term slide, refers to a small format photographic transparency individually for one-at-a time projection.  Size of the slides is 2x2 inch.  Price is quite high.  Rarely found in the classroom.

8. OVERHEAD PROJECTOR  A box with a large “stage” on the top surface.  A lamp from inside the box is condensed by a special type of lens passes through the transparency that is placed on the “stage”.

11. Preparing Transparencies  Print horizontally on the transparency.  Use a large text size.  Use standard fonts.  Color of the text should be black. Use red sparingly.  Do not overload your transparency. (66 rules)  Use topical outlines and NOT sentences.
