9.  Solid Always keeps a definite shape and takes up the same amount of space. The molecules move around but stay very close to each other, they wiggle or vibrate.

10.  Liquid Always take up the same amount of space, but they do not always keep the same shape. Molecules in a liquid roll and slide around. This is why the shape of liquids change. The molecules in a liquid move more freely over each other. This movement allows liquids to flow and be poured.
