Winds (Brass & Woodwind):  Scales G, C, F, B b, E b, A b, D b, G b, & the chromatic F to F no less than 2 octaves in trip-a-lets  Sight reading  Theory Test  Must Participate in a large ensemble in the Fall and Spring  Must be prepared to study privately with a prescribed instructor.

3. WHAT INSPIRES YOU? WHY DO YOU LOVE MUSIC? ARE YOU DRAWN TO A CHALLENGE? ARE YOU WILLING TO WORK HARD TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS? WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO FOR A CAREER? HOW CAN A INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC MAGNET PROGRAM HELP YOU GET THERE? CAN YOU USE BASIC MUSIC VOCABULARY? ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH ANY MUSICAL WORKS WORKS FROM HISTORY?

4. Print and complete the application: IS DUE BY DECEMBER 18 th. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Once your application has been submitted you will be contacted by a member of the instrumental faculty and given an audition time. TURN AROUND TIME IS QUICK! After your audition you will be notified with your audition results within TWO WEEKS of audition. AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD BETWEEN JANUARY 11 th - 14 th. GOOD LUCK!

5. The FAME recruitment timeline is as follows:  October 8 th : FAME informational meeting in the NMHS Band Room @ 7:30pm.  December 18th: All applications due to NMHS. No late applications will be accepted.
