Brief Background and Introduction Turn over to the FRD who did the work – Special Challenges offered by the work – Differences from the norm
3
Crop Group Validation - Brassicas Field Research Directors Brent Boutwell Chuck Farrar Study Director Bill Barney Objective: To validate the crop grouping methodology used by IR-4/EPA to set crop group tolerances

Global Residue Study - Tomatoes FRD – Chuck Farrar Study Director – Michael Braverman Objective: – To test the influence of various geographic locations on the ultimate pesticide residues in field grown tomato when subjected to standardized application parameters.

Public Health Project Field Research Directors – Don Stewart - California – David Studstill – Florida Study Director – Keith Dorschner Public Health Manager – Karl Malamud-Roam
11
Public Health Project Etofenprox – control adult mosquitoes To propose a “blanket” tolerance to cover all crops using data from alfalfa, pasture grass and leaf lettuce Currently can’t spray where might drift onto agricultural fields Limits use in mosquito control surrounded by agriculture
