2008 Entered Seton Hall as a freshman Majored in Religious Studies 2009 As a sophomore I traveled to Haiti after the earthquake 2010 Was awarded Student Servant Leader Award Was inducted into Theta Alpha Kappa the honor society for the American Academy of religion 2011 Added a minor in Applied Ethics Worked on my Senior Thesis over the last year in the hopes of publishing it

My Roots My Father’s family immigrated from Italy in the early 1900s. They moved directly to Cleveland and are still there today. They worked their way to the middle class through mostly hard work. My mother’s family immigrated in the early 1800s and settled land with other Swedish Christians in Topeka, Kansas.

Road Blocks Sophomore year of high school I had verbally committed to the University of Akron to play soccer. In that same year I shattered my leg. Akron would no longer honor my commitment to them and chose to retract their scholarship offer. While breaking my leg was a road block. The detour was very fruitful. I was able to excel in my studies and express myself through the arts. At this point I almost happy I broke my leg because it had a tremendous impact on who I am today.

Future Moving to Mississippi in May to attend training at Delta State University Beginning to teach elementary school in August Beyond That….
