Vocabulary Pg 34 Dialog Box: A window used to select options that affect the way the program executes a command Landscape Orientation: displays and prints horizontally across the long side of a page Portrait Orientation: Default position. Displays and prints text horizontally across the shorter side of a page Margins: white space on top and side of the page Shortcut menu: relevant commands that displays when you right-click an item. Also called a content menu Task pane: window that displays additional options and commands for certain features Toolbar: a row of command buttons

Only title bars of the non-active windows are visible Copy: duplicate Cut: delete a section from original and move to clipboard Group buttons: buttons that represent all open windows for one application
