Activating Strategy In your Theme # 5 Journal, in the English section of “A Kind of Grace”, make a list of as many pronouns that you can.

EQ:What are subject and object pronouns? A pronoun is a word that takes the place of one or more nouns. The antecedent is the noun or nouns to which it refers. A subject pronoun can replace a noun used as a subject. ( A subject pronoun performs the action) An object pronoun can replace a noun used as a direct object or after a word such as to, of, in, for, at, or by. ( Objects have the action performed on them)

What are subject and object pronouns? Ariel has worked hard, and she is now a skillful gymnast. Natasha trains with her during the summer. They run and lift weights to strengthen muscles. Sometimes I run with them on the high-school track. Ariel taught me to do handsprings. People stop and stare at us when we turn handsprings together.
