Henderson 6/27/2010 Lesson # 26 5 27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 3 rd - (all of you) have clothed yourselves with Christ have clothed - endyō - signifies "to enter into, get into," as into clothes, "to put on,“ another meaning of “endyo” – to sink, to go in we can by faith we “sink into” Christ - reckon or counting upon our being united with Christ - in this union we have Christ’s love, care, compassion, concern, longsuffering, etc.
