At one point in my life I switched my studies To a religion called Penesees. I wrote and essay on conic sections when I 16. I gave up my play- time to extend my study in geometry. I created the arithmetical triangle in 1653. I pretty much killed Myself because I devoted my life to my studies. By the time I died I was physically worn out. I persuaded my youngest sister to join the Port Royal Society. I read a book called “Euclid's Elements” when I was 12 and soon I mastered it.

His father was a judge, but later moved to Paris, France to prosecute his scientific studies.
