2 Introduction  iTunes is a music application suitable for all ages that can be used on both an Apple or PC computer  The iTunes music store has a wide variety of music and videos for the user to select from  Group iTunes does not support the use of illegal downloading of music and reminds users that this could result in fines, community service, and jail time  iTunes is a music application suitable for all ages that can be used on both an Apple or PC computer  The iTunes music store has a wide variety of music and videos for the user to select from  Group iTunes does not support the use of illegal downloading of music and reminds users that this could result in fines, community service, and jail time

3 Step 1  Click on the iTunes Store icon on the left side of the iTunes screen under the label “Store,” shown below with the red arrow.

4 Step 2  Type in the name of the artist, song, or album you wish to purchase in the search bar, located at the top right of the iTunes screen above the words “Search iTunes Store,” and press enter.

5 Step 3  Once you have entered your purchase of interest, a list of search results will appear. Before purchasing, it is strongly recommended that you preview the song first. To do so, double click on the result you wish to purchase to listen to the 30-second preview of the song.

6 Step 4  Click on the “Buy Song” icon once you have previewed the song you wish to purchase, which is right along the same line as the song.

7 Step 5  You must now enter in your account name and password to access your iTunes account. If you are a first time purchaser, you must click on the “Create New Account” button (the top red arrow) and follow the steps to create an account. You will need to have your credit card or iTunes gift card with pre-purchased songs ready for this step.

8 Step 6  To locate your song, return back to your iTunes Library and click on the Purchased Music icon.

Do I have to use a credit card to buy iTunes music?  No. Customers can purchase gift cards for iTunes at many different retail stores such as Target, Kohl's, or any book store or grocery store. These gift cards are offered in different amounts. Then the customer just enters in the code of the gift card onto their iTunes account, and the amount the customer has purchased is kept on their iTunes account.  2. Do I have to pay to add songs from my own personal CDs?  No, these songs belong to you already, therefore it is free to add on any songs from your personally owned CDs.  3. Do I have to import every song from the CD I am adding to my library?  No you are able to check and UN-check which songs you want to import to your iTunes library.  1.
