November 16 from 3:00- 5:30pm. 3 POINTS Participants are needed Near location (@ Lynbrook) All proceeds will go to our International Project this year: Save the Schools Help serve out food to racers and help with registration

National Family Literacy Month November NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) National Family Literacy Month! Book drive! Books should be for infants and children through 8th grade All books will be donated to Better World Books

Book Drive! Books will be distributed to children and families through: Pediatric primary care centers Childcare centers Schools Dates: Friday, 11/16 – Friday, 11/30 (2 weeks) Interact member who donates the most books will receive $10 gift card of their choice!

Book Drive! Points system: 5 books = 1 point = 1 hour BONUS: 20 books = 5 points = 5 hours Use a sticky note and place on top of book, including: Name, Grade, E-mail Address NEATLY

More Volunteer Opportunities! Long term volunteer opportunity is… Volunteering at the library for once a week on a continuous basis Many individual volunteers help the library. Adults and teens help keep shelves in order, do simple processing tasks, etc. Call library at 408.446.1677 or come in to get more information about volunteer opportunities.
