1. The Year Of Encounters Natalie E. Sanchez Pyburn Elementary Encounters

2. Making My Building During the process of Making my building, I got messy due to my painting. Paint would splatter on my clothes. Thank goodness not a lot of paint would get on me!

3. Downtown Fun We went to Downtown Houston for a field trip. There we went to the City Hall and saw some old, significant houses. In some of the houses, you could see inside them and their furniture.

4. Unique Houses When we went to see the houses we saw some one story houses and some two story houses. Each one had its own unique taste.

5. Our Field Trip We saw some pretty houses on the trip. Some had some modern decorations and others had something you don’t see everyday. One of the houses had some beautiful, white gates and what appears to be dogs.

6. Modern Buildings I studied Modern Architecture like… The Falling Water House The Lotus Temple The Chicago Spire These buildings guided me through the year.

7. The Lotus Temple The Lotus Temple helped me the most for: -Being a Building based on a flower and being my Inspiration.

8. Making My Tri-Board This is my Tri- Board based on my building, Inspiration and What I studied.

9. My Project This is my Building. My inspiration (as seen on tri-board) was the Lotus Temple (seen below). This inspired me because it represented a flower.

10. Till’ the End Toward the end, we wrapped up our projects, eager to return to Encounters Next year. We are to bring our buildings to the Zotz Center where they are going to be displayed to the world.
