Materials Selection Assignment Description : Material selection packet for a small project Format : Printed, 8.5x11 Specifics : Plan with egress components (exit access, exit, exit discharge, etc…) indicated Materials classification (floors, walls, and ceilings) for each different component Product cut sheets with compliance data indicated. Need floor, wall, and ceiling materials for corridor, stair, and lobby. Process : Identify the main egress components on the plan provided using color or different hatch patterns. Be sure to provide a key. Select three materials (floor, wall, and ceiling) for exit, exit access corridor, and the office area. Provide product information which identifies the materials and what their interior finish classification. Organize in a notebook or packet, with everything clearly labeled.
