Definition Photosynthesis : the process which green plants use sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water to make food and oxygen. Photosynthesis : the process which green plants use sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water to make food and oxygen. Cellular Respiration : the process of oxidizing food molecules or breaking down chemical bonds of glucose into carbon dioxide and water.
