Memo I am very pleased with market research and the way you have presented it. Is it possible to add some notes explaining how you created it and explain the decisions you made so we can share your ‘expertise’ with other members of the company? T. Boss (Chairperson Kiddystuff PLC) What will we need to write about our work? What are ‘techniques’? What were the main decisions you made?
2
Annotating our Work We are learning to ‘annotate’ our work to explain the techniques used and the justify the decisions we made. We will add notes to our slides giving details of the software (programs) we used, how we used it and the reasons for any decisions we made. Your new secondary teachers will be very interested in this part of your work. This is because you can show you understand the techniques you have used and your understanding of ideas such as ‘audience’ and ‘formula’.
3
Decisions included The questions to ask within survey How to set up the taste test. Which figures and graphs to use. The choice of colours, fonts etc to make the presentation formal. Any decisions related to the extension tasks.
