THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMMUNICATION Student : Jhan-Yung Lin Shun-Jhan Huang Instructor : Ru-Li Lin Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Department of Mechanical Engineering
2
OUTLINE history radio fibre era 1G 、 2G 、 3G 、 4G Cable and fiber optic cable Compare conclusion references
3
HISTORY OF COMMUNICATION Originated in the need for human self-protection. The desire to pass more complicated. Finally, mankind has finally started electricity to communicate.
5
RADIO Loudspeakers to convert the sound into a radio wave, for the modulation of a high frequency current.
6
In 1919, Marconi radio transmitter in the UK Kerr Chelmsford.
8
A major role in past communications, sent to Earth on space situation and the transmission of information between the two places on Earth.
9
FIBRE ERA Is capable of transporting the light fiber. It smaller than cable, only slightly thicker than a human hair.
11
ADVANTAGE (1) large capacity communication (2) long distance relay (3) from electromagnetic interference (4) resource-rich (5) fiber optic light weight, small size
14
CONCLUSION (1) Optical fiber will gradually become part of our daily life. (2) Optical fiber small size, light weight, ease of laying and handling of raw materials. (3) In addition, fiber is a very wide range of applications, so gradually replace copper as the main medium of communication.
