2. South African Research Association For Early Childhood Education(SARAECE) SARAECE is an association that promotes research and research development. The current president of the association is Prof Hasina Ebrahim It was founded with the aim of achieving the following : Provide an academic forum in SA for the development and dissemination of research in Early Childhood Promote links between research, practice and policy in ECE

3. South African Research Association For Early Childhood Education(SARAECE) Facilitate cooperation and collaboration among researchers in SA working in the ECE field. Raise the visibility and status of research in ECE in SA

SARAECE @ the Eastern Cape Establish a forum for the development and dissemination of research in the Eastern Cape Working with other actors in ECE to identify EC specific niche areas for research Collaboration on research Research development for members working in the ECE field Disseminate research in accessible languages and forms such that it is accessible to all in ECE Having seminars to share best practices,in Early Childhood Education, interrogate policy implementation, etc. 2015 Seminar is planned for October.
