5. E-Evolve RLOs E-Evolve RLOs were created by academics They had no specialist IT training Used Wimba Create and Adobe Presenter – how to edit, add a hyperlink to a Word document The creators were asked to keep resources and activities separate so can be customised at a later date

7. What next? All of the materials were packaged Only for UK HE institutions But had the potential to be made open and separated to make open RLOs This is where EVOLUTION came in

EVOLUTION’s work RLOs have been unpackaged They have been made available on two levels – learning activities and re-usable resources Re-usable materials are the raw materials eg mini lecture, worksheets Learning activities are lesson plans and this is where the potential for changing pedagogy comes in
