3 * Americans protested there voting rights.

6 * Anthony Salman. The peace and freedom on African American. 1653 * The freedom of speech. * Our state united which means everyone should have the right to vote no matter there age or race.

7 * As once race everyone came together to be one. * All African Americans wanted one thing and that was freedom to have a say so.

8 * There was much physical and mental pain involved in the freedom marches. * Many people were beaten or even killed.

9 * African Americans were banned from exercising there right to vote.

10 * Some people managed to save there families. * Other had to make sacrifices.

11 * If every one was united and stood up for what they believed in they were a family.

12 Women were not allowed to vote because men and woman were not treated equally.

13 * They not only needed other blacks to unite. They needed other help. * If everyone believed in making change happen then eventually it would happen.

14 * Blacks were allowed to register to vote. * But there votes were not counted.

15 * All citizens were to have equal opportunities under this amendment. * Meaning the right to vote

17 Buying houses were hard to do because blacks didn't have alot of money. They hade little to no money.

18 * Blacks were not allowed to use the same bathrooms as whites * The whites bathrooms were much better. * People felt that whites were better than the colored
