2 Why are we introducing Unified Assessment? 5 Impact within health DisadvantagesDisadvantages Although for those patients requiring Unified assessment there is the added responsibility for producing a summary record at the end of an acute episode AdvantagesAdvantages Any patients who have been assessed prior to admission will arrive with a summary of the needs and services they are getting in the community this should produce great time savings for staff.
