4. Example #3 Jenny, Jack’s wife found a hotel for $185 for a two night stay and another hotel nearby for $275 for a three night stay. Which is the better buy? The three night stay is a better rate.

5. Example #4 Jack and his family is traveling in Canada for part of their trip. They spend money on souvenirs that cost $234.50 CAD. If the exchange rate is 1 USD = 1.21 CAD, how much did they spend in US currency? This is $193.80 in USD.
