2. Her birthday!! Marlee was born on August 24, 1965. She was born in Morton Grove, Illinois, USA. She has been Deaf since she was 18 months old. She became Deaf from an illness that made her loose most of her hearing.

3. Her Job!! She is still alive!! She is an actress, she played on “Children Of The Lesser God.” In 1987 she won an award for best actress in a motion picture. She was named the godmother of cruise ships.

4. Her Family!! She has two older brothers names Marc and Eric. She has 4 kids. Her family was really close to her.

5. Her importance!! She is the first Deaf person to win “Best Actress” Academy Award. She has shown that it doesn’t matter if your Deaf you can still do what the hearing can.

6. Where did she grow up?! She grew up in Morton Grove. Her parents didn’t limit her just because she was Deaf. She hid her hearing loss as a kid.

7. How she was treated as a Deaf person! She expects to be treated normal. People didn’t treat her really any different. As a child she was treated normal Now everyone likes her she is an awesome actress.
