11 What about reading and listening?
We will also practice these areas in class, BUT… It’s much easier to work on these skills alone, so most of your practice should be at home. We will focus on repeating a small number of the most useful techniques.

12 Repeat, repeat, repeat… In class, we introduce you to IELTS information and techniques. You will need to practice everything many, many times at home to really learn.

How long is the speaking test? How many sections are there? What percent of your final grade is your exam worth? How will you be assessed? How long is part 1? How long is part 2? How long is part 3? Which section asks questions about your hobbies? Which section is similar to a discussion? Which section will you speak for 2 minutes on a topic?

How do you spend your free time? “I really love going to art galleries. My friend and I try to go to one every weekend, they always help us relax and unwind.” Don’t answer with one word. Think about who, what, where, when and why. Practice the above question with your partner.
