The Control Button Scrolling up, down, left, and right. To enter selection press center.

Things You Can Do Add Sound to your images. Record 60 sec. MPEG movies. View images right away. Transfer images to your computer.

Taking a Still Picture Turn the Camera on. Enter Still Mode. Define Settings. Take the Picture.

Turn the Camera on Slide the Power switch to the on position. Slide the PLAY/STILL/MOVIE selector to STILL mode.

Define Settings Record Menu. Quality Menu. Image Menu. Flash Menu.

Record Menu Normal: Records compressed JPEG image. E-mail: Record 320 x 240 JPEG image suitable to e- mail.

Record Menu Voice: Records JPEG image with sound. Bitmap: Records non- compressed (640 x 480) image besides JPEG. Clearer Detail.

Quality Menu Fine: Best image quality, less disk space. Standard: Poorer image quality, more disk space.

Image Menu 640 x 480: Records a 640 x 480 JPEG image. 1024 x 768: Records a 1024 x 768 JPEG image.

Flash Menu High: Highest flash level. Normal: Normal flash level. Low: Lowest flash level.

Take the Picture Position picture using the LCD screen. Press shutter halfway down. Wait for AE indicator to stop flashing. Press shutter fully down.

Getting Creative Set focus. Picture Effects. Program Auto Exposure.

Set Focus Auto: Focuses Automatically. Manual: User has to focus manually using the focus ring.

Picture Effects Neg. Art: Color and brightness is reversed. Sepia: Picture is sepia. A picture done in a dark brown ink or pigment.

Picture Effects B & W: Monochrome image (black and white). Solarize: Clearer light intensity.

Program Auto Exposure Function Soft Portrait: Creates soft background. Sports Lesson: For fast moving subjects. Beach & Ski: For strong or reflected light.

Program Auto Exposure Function Sunset & Moon: For subjects in dark environment. Panfocus: For close or distant subjects, and dark places.

Recording Movies Enter movie mode. Define Settings. Take the movie.

Enter Movie Mode Slide the PLAY/STILL/MOVIE selector to Movie Mode.

Define Settings Image Size: You can record 320 x 240 or 160 x 112 MPEG Movie.

Take the Movie Press shutter down momentarily to record image and sound for five seconds. Hold shutter down fully to record a max. 60 sec Movie.

Playing Back Images Enter Play Mode. Select Image to View. View image on the LCD screen.

Enter Play Mode Slide the PLAY/STILL/MOVIE selector to PLAY Mode. Image will appear on the LCD screen.

Select Image to View Use the control button to selection image to view. Arrow pointing back will display preceding image.

Select Image to View Arrow pointing forward will display next image. The index icon will display an index of all recorded images.

Viewing Images on a Computer Insert floppy into disk drive. Open the disk drive. Double click the desired file.
