The Fractal Vortex of Learning A Project to Demonstrate Your Learning
2
Measure ACCURATELY! Measure 3 inch increments, 6 times, for a total of 18 inches. Then measure off ½ of an inch. Do this 3 times, starting at the same edge. Connect your “marks” to make 7 parallel lines.
3
On ODD Numbered Lines Including the beginning edge, and on all odd numbered parallel lines, measure up 3 inches, twice.
4
On EVEN Numbered Lines: Measure off 1.5 inches, then 3 inches, and 3 inches again.
5
Connect the Diagonals All the hash-marks form diagonals, so draw them all in. Be sure to use a Straight-edge!
6
Connect MORE Diagonals! Now connect the diagonals going in the opposite direction.
7
Cut Off the “EXTRA” Cut off the section to the right of the ½ inch strip, and along the edges of the TOP triangles.
8
FOLD Everything! Start at an edge and crease along the line to fold all vertical and diagonal lines. NOTE: Do not try to pinch from both ends; start at one end and crease your way to the other end
9
Bend and Snake Bend toward the written side. Put the extra ½ triangles INSIDE the whole triangles and fold into a snake. Snip off the corners of the ½ inch tabs to fit it inside the other end.
