2 What is ‘ICGFM’? Working globally with governments, organizations and individuals, the International Consortium on Governmental Financial Management is dedicated to improving financial management so that governments may better serve their citizens

3 What is ‘ICGFM’? Within the international community, the Consortium is unique It serves as an "umbrella" bringing together diverse governmental entities, organizations (including universities, firms, and other professional associations), and individuals

4 What is ‘ICGFM’? It welcomes a broad array of financial management practitioners: - accountants, auditors, controllers, - information technology specialists, - treasurers, - and others They are working in all levels of government (local/municipal, state/provincial, and national)

5 What is ‘ICGFM’? The Mission statement emphasizes the organization's focus on activities to promote professional development and the exchange of information.
