Essential to use passage that ensure taken note can be successfully taken from.

12. Partial dictation
Candidate fill in the blanks by listening to the tester reads the complete form of sentences.
Correct spelling should not be required to be scored as correct>>the response provide evidence that candidate recognize the missing words.

13. Transcription
Transcribe numbers/words spelled letter by letter. E.g. telp numbers
Use the words that candidates has not known
Reliable and valid scoring: response to the item to be entirely correct for a point awarded

14. Moderating the items
Carried out: using prepared recording/ the writer reading the text as it is meant to be spoken in the test

Recording:
Uniformity in presentation>> good recording, good laboratory room, suitable equipments.
Live presentation
Greatest uniformity>> use the same presenter
Speaker>>good command of the test, generally highly reliable, trustworthy individual
