3. Case study b Translation of knowledge into practical solutions for your home countries b Group exercise, working in 5 groups of 4 people, each group with 1 SLU student and 3 CU as well as a mix of 3C and EU

Procedure Procedure b Each group member must first summarise his or her country’s needs b The group must then summarise the opportunities offered by the knowledge that has been acquired b The group must then prioritise the needs of the different countries, and choose the one country whose needs best fits the opportunities b The group then prepares an Action Plan for that country

5. Action Plan b The Action Plan should describe what Knowledge Transfer and Technology Transfer is needed b It should take into account food production, food supply and processing chains and consumer demands b It should have a realistically implementable time frame

6. Report b The report should be written as if it was to be read by a governmental or institutional Task Force considering Food Security b Task Force people are usually highly intelligent and can absorb clear messages quickly.
