Absorb, de-construct, re-combine Vernacular scholarship at its core is outsider perspective within naturalized paradigms. To be effective as scholarship it is necessary to understand the explanation forms as they have been articulated. Read/listen for the rhetoric (contingent) statements implicit in the presentation of fact and theory. Re-invest the rhetoric with alternative facts or weighting factors. Speak out, write out.
