France and Britain was in debt…. b/c of French and Indian war Stamp Act….placed tax on paper items Sons of Liberty disguised themselves as Mohawk Indians….carried out Boston Tea Party George Washington was only 21 years old when he was selected to…..lead troops in both F and I War and Revolutionary War At the 1st Continental Congress, Georgia was...the only colony not to attend

It Still Relevant….. America’s first sneak attack took place during the winter in….Trenton, nJ America’s second sneak attack happened in….Princeton, NJ Saratoga was a major turning point of the war and convinced the French that the Americans might win. Mercenaries were paid to fight the colonists Valley Forge was located in Pennsylvania

It’s Remains Relevant…..
Thin soup & dry bread patties were the menu options for soldiers at Valley Forge. Food, medicine and clothing were collected by women for soldiers at Valley Forge. British troops were trapped by Americans and French at the Battle of Yorktown. It took the British 3 weeks to surrender after the Battle of Yorktown.
