What is Supply Chain Management? Supply Chain Management is the successful integration of all the branches of a corporation to make the company as profitable as possible. It is making sure that Finances, Marketing, Purchases, Manufacturing, and all other areas of a company work well together so that the Supply Chain can be outstanding. Wal-Mart uses Supply Chain to control inventory. How much inventory of each item is necessary to match the demand. It uses SCM in transportation. How does an end product get from point A of production to the hands of the consumer in a Wal-Mart location. The location of every item is strategically placed so that they can obtain the more revenue out of each product.

COMPARE AND CONTRAST Mr. Kellso has been working in the field since Supply Chain didn’t exist and it was called Control Engineering. He has experience in American companies within the United States and is aware of the management of every department. Adrian has worked in Brazil and Mexico and is very different how the integration and the significance of Supply Chain in each country. Adrian is more concentrated towards the area of finances and not much of Supply Chain integration, but still has to make sure that the other areas are working and communicating with each other so that he can have more accurate forecasts.
