LeaseSync is a Geographical Information System that provides a graphical representation of your company’s land and leasing databases.
10
Locate Position of Earth The Locate feature allows user to find a place on the earth by identifying state, county, city, zip, section, township/range, Texas abstract or LatLon. LOCATE: Sec 23-T13N-R06W Once your custom databases are developed, Locate also allows you to select the item of interest and zoom into the area.
11
Define Prospect Area LeaseSync provides a set of custom tools to allow the user to create a variety of shapes on the map to represent different elements of your databases. Selecting the Add Prospect button, you can use the mouse to identify the boundaries of a prospect area and then insert the data.
12
Define Tracts of Land Once the Prospect area is defined, all elements or objects created within the area will be associated with the Prospect. Selecting the Add Tract button, you can create the boundaries of one or more tracts and then fill in the data.
13
Define Ownership The Tracts can represent either a surface or mineral zone tract. Once defined, you can identify ownership of a tract. Selecting the Division of Interest button, you can identify all owners and their interest associated with each tract.
14
Define Leases Since ownership identifies the parties associated with each tract, each would have a lease agreement identifying terms and conditions. Selecting the Add Lease button you can either click on the map to create a lease boundary or use the selected tract to identify the lease.
15
Locate Well Once all the leases have been identified for all the tract owners, associated wells can be located and identified. To identify the location of a well, you can use the Add Well tool to point to a location on the map or use the Locate menu option to define its coordinates.
16
Identify Well Units Each well can be associated with a unit that defines its boundaries. Units can represent different shapes as well as zone depths. To create a well unit, simply select the appropriate icon and identify the location and shape of the unit.
17
View Corresponding Documentation When company documentation is properly organized, LeaseSync provides a link to documents associated with the various map objects. Simply select the documentation icon and point to a location on the map. LeaseSync will display a list of related documents for display.
18
Utilize USGS Quads/Aerials USGS Quads are available for the United States that provide backgrounds to show terrain on maps. Aerials are also available to help illustrate the various land features.
19
Create Customized Reports Various reports are normally required by management to identify leasing statuses or expiration dates. LeaseSync comes with Crystal Reports for easy generation of custom reports for management.
20
