1. Keep an agenda up to date daily. Always write any assignments and homework tasks in your planner/organizer.

2. Work in a clear space. Get rid of all distractions. No one says you have to work in complete silence but turn off the T.V. and your laptop, (unless you need do to homework/research).

3. Do your work first. Make sure that all your homework is finished within three hours before bed time, if you can. Then, you can text your friends and hang out with your family.

4. Don't leave homework until the last minute. A task that looks like it will take just 15 minutes, always takes a lot longer than you think it will. Try to do your homework the night you get it.

5. Plan one day per week to relax. Enjoy your hobbies, spend time with family and friends, take a bath, or anything else to relax you.

Make a list of 5-10 jobs that you’ve thought about. Now organize the list, putting your favourites at the top. For your top three choices, list the positives and negatives. Talk to a teacher or guidance counsellor.

Learn more about the job by doing some online research. And when you’ll be sure about your decision you ‘ll be ready to choose profession.

Do well at school. Education will help you be a productive member in society. Strive for excellence in school: listen to the teachers do your homework study get good grades

Do good in your community. Volunteering can make you feel better about yourself. Studies show that people who volunteer are less likely to develop depression and other emotional issues than people who don’t.

Figure out your goals in life and work toward them. Start thinking about careers you would like to be in, but make a good choice based on your interests and strengths.

Don't get into any trouble, legal or otherwise. It could ruin your future plans. Avoid the peer pressure and ditch the cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs.

Be nice to your parents and teachers. Remember, they're there to help you be the best that you can be. Respect them and value their opinions, even if they annoy you sometimes.

Have good friends to help you out! Friends are there to support you and lift your spirits. Be with people who make you happy, and ditch the ones who don't.

Do what you love. Adopt a hobby; reading, writing, sewing, singing, dancing, playing a sport, making pottery, etc. It will pass time and help you develop your personality.

Live life to the fullest! You're only young for a short time, so be daring, go out into the world and live life! Life is short, so enjoy it while you can.
