Started in 2005 as CarboOcean/CarboEurope initiative funded exclusively by both projects 2008-2011 funded by the Science in Society program of the EC Joined by EPOCA in 2008 Two educational booklets promotion posters, video clips, teacher-scientist partnership guides … Many thanks to all enthusiastic colleagues that have participated to make this a success!!! WP 22 highlights CarboSchools project: link researchers from carbon science labs with schools -Initiated by CarboOcean and CarboOcean in 2004 -funded by both projects until 2008 -funded since 2008 by “Science in Society”of the EU since 2008 with a target of ca. 100 schools involved. Since 2008, EPOCA, a new EU research project on ocean acidification, has been joining forces with CarboSchools.
