Absentee notes are required for all absences. Please return as soon as possible following your child’s absence. If your child has more than 10 days absent, then a doctor’s note is required.

Recess and after school (3:30-4:30 p.m.) Recess may be used to make-up work due to an absence or for extra help After school detentions are assigned by Mr. Behr or Mr. Fasnacht

Approximately 3:20 Walkers are dismissed first, followed by the early buses

A buddy system has been created. Classroom secretary for the week will collect homework throughout the day for missed work. Homework can be picked up after 3:00 p.m.

Students are required to read outside of the classroom They will test during the school day in school only Please sign log sheets that the students have to confirm reading took place at home Points sheet can be found tonight on the desk in the hallway.

This is to be used as a tool to help students at home to go through the lessons and conduct some of the activities that we have available to them outside of school.

Electronics are permitted in school. Ebook Readers (ie. Kindle, Nook, Ipads, etc.) will need a permission slip to be filled out for students to utilize for the purpose of reading AR. These can be found on the table in the hall. iPods are permitted on days students are running the mile run in school. iPods are also permitted to use as a special reward during work time in class.
