The Wards may be given to those workmen also who have made supreme sacrifice of laying down their lives in the conscientious Discharge of their duties. Award Process: Ministry of Labour & Employment generally invites recommendations for grant of awards sometime during first quarter of every year. The nominations are To be routed through the Administrative Central Ministry along with their recommendations so as to reach the Ministry of Labour & Employment by specified date every year Accompanied with full citation, containing the personal particulars of the individuals Recommended and highlighting also the achievements of the workmen which merit Conferment of an award of such reputed as are Prime Minister’s Shram Awards.
