3. “ The Bangi-Sepang road was under construction and to reach the southern boundary of Bukit Tunggul reserve, which was then being demarcated, one had to plough over miles of latterite earth-work and camp at Jenderam, a vile place for mosquitoes. On the other side of the reserve the boundary was formed by the Bangi- Salak bridle path and there was a halting bungalow on it, not far south of Bangi, at which one stayed” He also narrated the sighting of a tiger.
