Grading Policy Summative: 60/Formative: 40 Due Date/ Deadline Receipt Book “M” = Missing, will turn into “0” after deadline “Z” = student was present, didn’t complete assignment, equals a “0”. “X” = Exempt, assignment will neither count for or against students’ GPA 10 day make-up policy for summative (formative = 5)

7. Cheating/Plagiarism Zero tolerance Parent Contact Referral Grade of “0” for assignment

8. Cell Phones Silent/Off & AWAY!!! There will be occasional times where I will ask you to use your phones for an activity, but this will be a rarity. On reading days students MAY listen to music at an acceptable volume. Remember that this is a privilege and it can be taken away. Reading apps WILL NOT be allowed via cell phone on reading days. However Nooks, Kindle, and eReaders will be allowed. (No iPads, cell phones, iPods, or tablets; sorry)
