4. Duration At least 2 weeks of the common cold symptoms Then 3 to 4 weeks of a severe cough = SIX OR MORE WEEKS OF BEING SICK!!

8. Prevention Vaccination: –Child has 5 shots before 6 th birthday for pertussis. Can take antibiotics to help prevent giving it away to anyone else
