Non-Fiction - Informational A piece of literature that is meant to give information or facts about a topic.

Non-fiction - Biography The story of a person’s life as written by another person.

Non-Fiction - Autobiography The story of a person’s life written by that person.

Non-Fiction - Diary A written account of what a person has done, felt, or thought, that is written by that person.

Fiction - Historical This form of fiction recreates time, event, or place in history. It will contain facts but the story is imaginative.

Fiction - Realistic Writing that shows life as it really is…includes everyday things such as getting a cold, throwing up, breaking a leg, etc.
