● Work in groups of 3 ● Your lab drawer # is your Group # ● 3 JOBS IN EACH GROUP: 1. Recorder 2. Performer 3. Gofer (collects and returns chemicals etc DO NOT MOVE TRAYS OF CHEMICALS

Have 6 students put different chemicals back where they belong. NOTICE - no trays have extra bottles. If you see extra bottles, don't put your bottle there until you have found at least 3 bottles that don't belong there and will need to go back to other trays

1 2 3 4 5 ● DEMO ● evaporating dish, hotplate ● pH paper (color code on container) ● Universal Indicator solution ● test tubes ● thermometer ● test tubes ● Equipment & supplies needed ● WHITE well plate ● pH paper

● Clean up and put away your lab drawer stuff in lab drawers. ● Return chemicals, thermometers, & indicators to where you got them on the islands ● Do not leave anything on counters at your lab stations. ● Answer all questions on back of data sheet and turn in tomorrow (Wed 5/22) End of Lab

5/21/2013 Standards: 10 (Organic Chemistry) Objectives: ● Students will complete the 3 procedures they didn't do yesterday and turn in their lab data sheets with the questions on the back all answered ● Students will know what will be on tomorrow's Quiz 3.5 (Organic Chem and Acid/Base Lab) - Quiz/Test Reviews. DO NOW: 1. Read directions on demo (Procedure 2) silently to yourself. HOMEWORK: 1. Create an excellent Help Sheet for tomorrow's Quiz 3.5 (5 pts) 2. Be sure to check out Quiz/Test Reviews for a copy of the Organic Chem Tutorial (you should have it already), and several videos covering all aspects of Organic Chem that we have covered. =========================================================== NO STAMPING: ● Journal 5/20/13 - What did you learned about from the Acid Base Lab
