4. Internet Safety The internet is an open door to a world of information, some of which can be informative and educational, some of which can be inappropriate and harmful.

5. If your password is too simple, someone might guess it. Create a password that is difficult to figure out (e.g., a combination of numbers, letters and symbols). Never share your password with anyone Password

6. Communication If you are talking to someone and they don’t respect your limits and/or ask you questions that are too personal, end your conversation immediately. Learn how to use privacy settings to limit who can access your personal information.

7. Pictures Once a picture is sent from your webcam, cellphone, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, etc., it may stay there forever. A picture on the Internet can go around the globe… Be careful how you pose and how you post !

8. Don’t believe everything you see or read ! Many things are not true or real.

9. Be responsible. You leave a permanent digital fingerprint every time you navigate on the internet … don’t leave one that you will regret.
