Internet Safety The internet is an open door to a world of information, some of which can be informative and educational, some of which can be inappropriate and harmful.

If your password is too simple, someone might guess it. Create a password that is difficult to figure out (e.g., a combination of numbers, letters and symbols). Never share your password with anyone Password

Communication If you are talking to someone and they don’t respect your limits and/or ask you questions that are too personal, end your conversation immediately. Learn how to use privacy settings to limit who can access your personal information.

Pictures Once a picture is sent from your webcam, cellphone, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, etc., it may stay there forever. A picture on the Internet can go around the globe… Be careful how you pose and how you post !

Don’t believe everything you see or read ! Many things are not true or real.

Be responsible. You leave a permanent digital fingerprint every time you navigate on the internet … don’t leave one that you will regret.
