8. Natural Resources List Mineral Resources- any resources that come from nature Fish-Fish are natural resources because we humans use them for many things. Some of those things are fish oil, food, fish, fish scales, and many other things. Hydropower- Hydroelectric power Coal- a black or dark-brown combustible mineral substance consisting of carbonized vegetable matter. Gas- any such combustible fluid used as fuel Iron ore- An ore from which Iron can be extracted Phosphates- a salt or ester of phosphoric acid.
