Eastern United States On the coast 8 former presidents were born in Virginia Farming is a Major part of Virginia. Major products include tobacco, Sweet potatoes, and peanuts. Soils, minerals, fisheries, waterpower, and lumber. Mild, known for it’s severe weather such as thunderstorms, hurricanes, and tornadoes.

My Notes on Tanzania Location: Eastern Africa Geographic Features: Many LAKES Mountains and Natural Parks Climate: Tropical Climate, Highlands- 50-68˚ Rest of Tanzania- 68-87.8˚ Natural Resources: Hydropower, tin, gemstones, gold, coal, gas, nickel, diamonds, iron ore, phosphates. Agriculture: Tanzania is a functional region. It works off of of agricultural land Special Landmarks or Sites: Mount Kalimanjaro, Zanzibar coral Reefs, Lake Manyara National Park. Other Interesting: Mount Kalimanjaro in Tanzania has the highest point in africa.

My Notes on Washington Location: Northwestern United States Geographic Features: Many mountains and national parks. Much farmland. Climate: west coast marine climate, Dry seasons, Spiraling air/wind. Natural Resources: timber, produce, fish, hydroelectric power Agriculture: Dry farming. One of americas highest agricultural source Special Landmarks or Sites: Mt. Rainer Olympic national Park, and Other Interesting:: There is a myth that bigfoot lives in the olympic mountains.

My Notes on California Location: SouthWestern United States Geographic Features: Home to many Mountains, valleys, Trees!!!, and desert land Climate: Rainy Winters, dry summers. Cool in the summer, warm in the winter along the coastal areas. Natural Resources: Wind, Water resources, Hydropower, Grasses, solar. Agriculture: Just like Washington, California is one of americas most agricultural states Special Landmarks or Sites: Sierra nevada mountains, Central Valley, Mojave Desert. Other Interesting: The population as of September 22 is 37,884,942 Home to record breaking trees. The tallest, oldest, and massivest.

Natural Resources List Mineral Resources- any resources that come from nature Fish-Fish are natural resources because we humans use them for many things. Some of those things are fish oil, food, fish, fish scales, and many other things. Hydropower- Hydroelectric power Coal- a black or dark-brown combustible mineral substance consisting of carbonized vegetable matter. Gas- any such combustible fluid used as fuel Iron ore- An ore from which Iron can be extracted Phosphates- a salt or ester of phosphoric acid. Wind- Power given from wind by a power plant such as a windmill Water Resources- Power given from water by a power plant such as a generator turbine
