4 Chain of Responsibility – Implementation Legislation was passed by WA State Parliament in May 2012, currently awaiting proclamation. Regulatory amendments and finalisation expected by December 2013.

6 Chain of Responsibility – Communication Main Roads, Heavy Vehicle Operations has responsibility for the education and industry communications. Initial discussions have already taken place with industry associations. External consultants to assist in key communication activities. Training of Transport Inspectors & other enforcement officers will be completed prior to implementation.
