4. History In Oman there was a war from 1965 to 1976. Sultan was removed by his son, the son Qaboos made a deal to end the war. He exported oil, and the money from that helped the Omani people get out of poverty.

5. Dates Omanis do not date like people in America. Omanis have to ask there president to date anther person out of their country. they date secretly.

6. Language The Omani citizens speak Arabic. Many Omani also speak English, Baluch, Swahili, Urdu, or various Indian dialects.

7. Geography Oman is 212,460 sq km It is smaller then Kansas The terrain is central desert plains with rugged mountains in the north and south.
